Specifically designed for underserved children ages 3 - 9 String Sprouts KC is a FREE music education program created to support school readiness.  Students are provided their very own violin or cello. The revolutionary curriculum uses researched-based techniques to build a foundation for future academic success through 32 weekly group violin lessons annually for 5 years.   Caregivers are involved each week in our after school classes, learning parenting tools that help support their Sprout both academically and emotionally through their musical journey.

In addition to our after school classes, Sprouts K.C. provides in-school class lessons, twice each week at Kansas City Public Schools.

"The best part about participating in the program is the feeling that they are getting a head start not just in music but in life. ~ K.C. String Sprouts parent
